In 1910 a paddle steamer called the Emeraude Cruises was offering
unforgettable cruises in Halong Bay for visitors to what was then French
Indochina. The Emeraude was part of a flotilla owned by the Roque family who had
left Bordeaux in 1858 in search of adventure.

Day 1: Ha Noi - Ha Long - Overnight cruise
08h00: pick up from your hotel. Depart to Ha Long city (170 km).
12h00: Arrive at public port. Wellcome by Emeraude cruises staff and board for
short transfer (approximately 20 minutes) to the Emeraude. Enjoy a refreshing
cocktail upon boarding the Emeraude. After checking in, have lunch at the
restaurant. Cruise among hundreds of islets to discover unspoilt pockets of
Halong Bay and its remote. Kayak or swim from the vessel's stern deck. At the
Hang Trong anchorage, where your appetite with an onboard cooking demonstration.
After sunset, enjoy dinner at the restaurant, before retiring to your cabin for
a good night sleep or join the crew and learn squid fishing.
Day 2: Ha Long Sunrise - Departure
Wake up early to enjoin the Sunrise on Halong Bay and practice Tai Chi on the
sundeck. European buffet breakfast is served in the Emeraude cruises restaurant.
The Emeraude cruises set sail once again through the breath taking scenery of Ha
Long Bay heading for Ha Long public port. Check out of cabin & transfer by
shuttle boat to Ha Long public port.
10h00: Arrive in Halong Whaft. Transfer back to Ha Noi.
16h00: End of the service at your hotel.
