
1,200 foreign sea tourists visit Da Nang on New Year day

The Superstar Libra anchored at Tien Sa port, central Da Nang city with 1,200 visitors on board on February 10, the fourth day of the traditional Lunar New Year.
The tourists, mostly from China , the UK , France and Australia , went on tours to historical and cultural sites in the city.
They were also offered trips to the imperial city of Hue in Thua Thien-Hue province and Hoi An ancient town in Quang Nam province.
Since the beginning of 2008, cruise liners have brought more than 5,700 foreign visitors to Da Nang city. The city expects to receive 18 cruise lines with over 10,000 tourists in the year’s first quarter.
